Holding Hands

Yesterday I had a play date with Mallory for the first time. Our moms took us on a walk and then Mallory played on the slide while I played on my blanket since I'm not mobile yet.

Grandma Bonnie and Aunt Jen

My Aunt Jen and Grandma Bonnie came to visit me this week. We went shopping and to the park. I had a great time and can't wait to see everyone again in a few weeks for harvest!

Woodland Park Zoo

I've always wanted to put my head in one of those silly head cut outs. Look...I'm a caterpillar! The butterfly exhibit was the first stop on our trip to the zoo.

My friend Aspen and her mom (Amanda) had a butterfly land on Aspen's sock.

I guess they thought they'd put me in the zoo with the other animals.

Just hanging out with the Balzer Family and the gorillas. If you look behind us there is a gorilla.

I saw all kinds of animals that I have never seen before in my life. Look how close we got to the hippo and elephant.

My mom and I went into the Rainforest exhibit. It was really cool to see the birds flying around so close to us.

Thought I try my dad's hat for a while.

I held out for most the zoo trip but started to get a little sleepy towards the end.

Family fun day at the zoo:)

6 Month Check Up

I had my 6 month check up today and I am a healthy kiddo! I weighed in at 19.5 lbs. (75%) and 29 inches long (over 100%). Today was the first time I've ever heard the work slender and Carson in the same sentence. I only had to get one shot today since I'm on an alternative vaccination schedule so I'll go back next month for another shot. My parents were really proud of me today because I was brave and survived the needle...with lots of hugs and kisses from both mom and dad.

Half a Year Old

Peek-A-Boo!

I just turned 6 months old yesterday and have become much better at sitting up on my own. I like this caterpillar it keeps me entertained while I'm sitting.

My mom took the legs off this activity until I'm ready to start standing until then I'll just sit and play.

Almost every morning my mom sets up activity centers for me (it's the teacher in her). I move from one activity to another until it is time for my morning nap. Being half a year old is so much fun!

Swinging, Swimming and Relaxing

I went to the park twice last week to swing... I love to swing!

Here I am with my friend Lily, she just turned 1.

I've been playing in my pool in the backyard to stay cool on these hot days.

I've also been relaxing in the shade where I like to play with my new stacking cup...they are so much fun!

Lake Roosevelt

Last week we went to my Grandma and Grandpa Stone's cabin on Lake Roosevelt. I went boating for my first time. I fell asleep even with this ridiculous lifejacket that I didn't really like all that much but safety comes first.
I also saw a deer for the first time. If you look closely you can kind of see one of the deer in the distance. There were two deer that lingered around the cabin all week. I had so many firsts on this trip I even got croup and had to go to the E.R. and they gave me steroids...that's why I'm wearing a muscle shirt to show off the guns. I feel much better now, I hope I never get that again.
